Are you ready for some football?

Or are you ready to become a football widow? I don’t mind either way. I like to  watch one game, but not the whole day of football! I used to get upset about football Sunday when I was first married. Well now I am soo over it! It is Me, Myself and I time! I do enjoy the excitement of the games! It is also nice to see this guy on ESPN Prime Time:Emmitt_2 Emmit and his family. Nice smile, nice guy and a pretty good dancer! Darianne’s first boyfriend was EJ, his adorable son! Funny thing is I cant stand the Cowboys… the team the rest of America loves to hate. I have so much to talk about the wedding, but I did not take any pictures… just of the bride, so I will write about it another day. I don’t know about you but around this time I start thinking about picnics. I love picnics! I have 7 vintage picnic baskets that hold all of my Art supplies. I am into making delicious sandwiches lately:Img_1113 This one is made with a grilled marinated chicken breast, roasted red peppers, Roma tomatoes and a pesto aioli on fresh crusty bread……… Yum! Needs a old-fashioned Pop and some salt and vinegar potato chips. I will skip them today, I had too much food at that wedding! Ive been working on some things for the ETSY here is just a little peek:Img_1117 Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely day!

I might just have to order that super fun vintage fabric pack with the irresistable lace. Love it! I’m also wishing I had lunch with you today. That sandwich looks DE-Lish!

My husband watches football, but he’s not fantatical about it. Sometimes I’ll sit and watch with him. I even tried to learn a little about the game, which is not easy because I am so NOT into sports. One year, the Superbowl fell on my birthday. I told my husband to buy me a lobster to eat at home, and to take me out to dinner the night before…and it all worked out. Compromise–one secret to a happy marriage!
You’re thinking about picnics? Wow, I’m thinking about long sleeves and hot cocoa. But a picnic in the fall would be wonderful, with all the beautiful leaves!

I’m not a big football fan–but I do love Emmett Smith. He has such a sweet smile. I bet he’s a nice guy.
