That is what Ive been up to! This blogging thing connects you to new and old friends, isn’t it funny how people just find you through just linking??? I am so grateful for that, people I haven’t been in touch with and miss are finding me!! Yay!! Wow what a small world! this year I promise I would surround myself with happiness and its working…….. I don’t know about you, but I try to laugh at least a couple of times a day, mostly at myself. I fall allot I am clumsy very clumsy, I laugh at my husband (he has a dry sense of humor), I laugh at my daughter, she is hilarious! I also love dumb shows like the office and anything Will Ferrell does! My cousin , and I can just get on the phone and start laughing for no reason at all, and I am finding out that allot has to do with my laugh (thanks cuz!) here is a picture of her:White_2  She is my best friend, my family, my biggest fan, my number one family reporter and my Hollywood connection! She lives in the heart of Los Angeles and her connections are amazing…. I know the scoop before it comes out in People magazine. The funny thing is, she could care less. I always try to get stuff out of her! She thinks I have no life wondering about these people in Hollyweird……. She calls me Scrapper-suburban mom. Its fun to go and visit and live like them for a little bit, but I don’t know how she lives in the Heart of that crazy city. Wait till she has her own kids and the homeless guy is eying her child, lets see what she thinks about little Suburban Mom now! Just kidding cuz! Love you to bits! She is getting married in September any advice for planning a wedding?? Let me know, she is going crazy poor thing! Ok, off to get rascal at grandmothers house, I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday!!!

Hi! I recently discovered your blog. It is all just so beautiful and inspiring! Thank you for letting me glimpse into your life and appreciate your creativity and beautiful aesthetic! Anyways, I just felt compelled to write when you mentioned your cousin is getting married and seeking advice. I got married almost 2 years ago and I created the most difficult situation for myself. We and had our wedding and formal sit down dinner in the middle of the woods, (literally, the woods!) therefore everything had to be brought in. It was beautiful like a fairy tail and I am so proud of how it turned out but the preperations made me go nuts! So, now I tell everyone that deligating is key BUT I regret not putting EVERYTHING in writing. I would express exactly how I wanted something or how I needed help from staff or family members and they would respond like they totally “got it” so I would move on assuming that it was handled. Oh, contrare! I now wish I had every last bit put into checklists leaving no room for others interpretations or room for them to add there own “flavor” as my Mom called it. I learned so much from this wedding that I contemplated becoming an event planner even! Thanks again for your beautiful blog and thank you for letting me share my “wedding thoughts!” Congradulations to your cousin! Oh, and you have such a lovely little girl!
    Sincerely, Cece

PS I’m new to this blogging world…I hope it is ok to write to people you don’t even know? I certainly do not want to invade anyones privacy but I am a friendly girl and just wanted to put my 2 cents in! Thank you!

I have the same flash cards only I paid full price for them…they are from Colonial Williamsburg. My price was $7.95…but I loved them and they were one of the things I bought as a keepsake of our trip there last fall. Did you get the box they came in? It is tied up with twine…I have not even opened mine as I like the way the box looks with the twine on it. Silly, huh?
I have filled my home with treasures/antiques from garage sales. I would have it no other way…I find the best stuff this way. The neighbors must think, “Where does she put all of that stuff?” But I can pack it away like nobody’s business…I think we have to be able to do this in order to keep the ‘hunt’ going on. Keep sharing your finds!
